Warner Robins, Georgia - The City of Warner Robins is proud to announce the Month of the Military Child Celebration, taking place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Memorial Park. This community-wide event is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of military-connected children.
Military children navigate a unique lifestyle—frequent relocations, changing schools, and enduring long periods apart from loved ones in service. This celebration aims to acknowledge these challenges while bringing families and neighbors together to show support and appreciation for our youngest heroes.
Event Highlights Include:
A selection of food trucks offering delicious options (available for purchase)
A live DJ providing family-friendly music and entertainment
Face painting and interactive games for kids
Community resource booths offering information and services for military families
“This celebration is more than just a fun evening—it’s an opportunity to uplift and support our military children who sacrifice so much alongside their families,” said Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick. “As a military child myself, I understand firsthand the emotional strength it takes to grow up with a parent in uniform. These children are resilient, brave, and deserve to be celebrated.”
Open to all military families, service members, and community residents, the event is designed to foster a spirit of connection and gratitude across Warner Robins. Whether you're a longtime resident or newly stationed in the area, this celebration offers a heartfelt welcome and a reminder that in Warner Robins, you are not alone.
