Responsibilities

The Public Works Department is made up of 5 Divisions, Field Operations, Street Operations, Grounds Maintenance, Central Receiving, and Vehicle Maintenance. They are responsible for the city vehicle fleet, city storage facility and maintenance of city infrastructure, including City Streets and Signage, City Facilities, Parks, Stormwater Structures, and all other City owned properties and facilities. The Department also maintains and enforces the refuse contract with our contracted garbage collection and disposal company. As well as maintains an Emergency Response Operations crew for for the city during natural disasters.
