The City of Warner Robins is an energetic community attracting leading global companies, investments, and talent. The Macon–Warner Robins–Fort Valley Combined Statistical Area (CSA) includes eight counties in Georgia within the Macon and Warner Robins metropolitan statistical areas. As of 2020, the population is estimated to be (416,539).

Robins Air Force Base is the economic heart of the city. There are over 23,000 total personnel at Robins Air Force Base, including over 6,100 military members, more than 14,200 civilian employees, and over 2,700 contract employees. Robins AFB has an annual federal payroll of $1.43 billion and annual expenditures of $492.7 million. It also creates more than $1.2 billion in additional local jobs. In 2020, (Robins AFB) had a $3.15 billion total annual economic impact on Georgia.
