Warner Robins, Georgia - The City of Warner Robins is honored to announce the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Land Tribute event on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway.
This event represents a significant milestone in the journey toward establishing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, dedicated to honoring the sacrifices and legacy of those who served during the Vietnam War.

Temporary Road Closure Notice:
To accommodate this important event, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway will be temporarily closed from Watson Boulevard to just north of Robins International Boulevard starting at NOON on Thursday, January 16, 2025 thru the conclusion of the event on Friday, January 17, 2025. This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of attendees and participants during the event.
The City assures residents and visitors that no businesses will be impacted by the closure. Detour signage will be in place to guide motorists, and alternate routes will be available. Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly to avoid delays.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees, parking will be available exclusively at Hope Church, located at 204 Sullivan Road, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030. Complimentary shuttle service will begin at 1:00 PM and will be the only means of transportation to access the event site.
