Warner Robins, Georgia - The City of Warner Robins is excited to announce the grand opening of its new Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 16th at 2:30 PM, at S Armed Forces Blvd. This event marks a significant milestone in the city's efforts to promote sustainable transportation and energy efficiency through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. 

Mayor LaRhonda Patrick, alongside representatives from Flint Energies and the Middle Georgia Clean Air Coalition, will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony. These new EV chargers reflect the city’s commitment to a cleaner, greener future and expanding its electric vehicle infrastructure. 

"We are proud to take this next step toward energy sustainability and further demonstrate Warner Robins’ dedication to reducing greenhouse gas emissions," Mayor Patrick stated. 

The event will be followed by refreshments at My Grandma's Empanadas, located near the ceremony site, where community members can gather to celebrate this important achievement.
