City of Warner Robins Responds to Inaccurate Facebook Post by The International Farmers’ Market Management

Warner Robins, Georgia - The City of Warner Robins wishes to address a recent Facebook post by The International City Farmers’ Market that contains inaccurate information and does not align with the City's values and mission. At the City of Warner Robins, we believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of working together to achieve common goals. The International City Farmers’ Market has been a staple of Perkins Field for decades, and we remain a staunch supporter of small businesses, local vendors, and cottage industries.

We have always envisioned the inclusion of The International City Farmers’ Market in our monthly Food Truck Round-Up events, as we believe that such a partnership would benefit our citizens and vendors alike. It is important to note that the City of Warner Robins has allowed this private farmers market to operate on city property without any fees being paid to the city. Despite multiple requests for meetings to discuss the approved layout and structure of the market, we have yet to receive a response from management.

For the betterment of our community and the market, we remain hopeful that a meeting date can be set as soon as possible to resolve this matter. We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment that benefits all parties involved, and we look forward to many years of local vendors participating in a farmers market on city property.
