41st Independence Day Celebration in Warner Robins June 29 at McConnell Talbert Stadium, gates open at 6PM

Warner Robins, GA – The Warner Robins Police Department and assisting agencies will be providing site security and traffic management for the Independence Day Celebration at McConnell-Talbert Stadium on Saturday, June 29, 2024. In an effort to provide a safe, secure and enjoyable atmosphere, we would like to distribute the following information:

Gates open at 6:00PM with entertainment from AJ the DJ
Event begins at approximately 7:00 PM
Fireworks will be at approximately 10:00 PM (Weather permitting and times are subject to change)

Gates for public entry: MLK Blvd, and S. Davis Drive.

Road Closures
4:00 PM – Demon Valley Dr. will be established as a NO PARKING ZONE.
6:00 PM – MLK Blvd. from S. Davis Dr. to Pearl Stephens Way will be restricted to eastbound traffic flow. Please enter venue area from S. Davis Dr. ONLY
6:45 PM – S. Davis Dr. from MLK Blvd. to Demon Valley Dr. will be closed to all vehicular traffic & detours established. Pedestrian traffic on sidewalks will be allowed until fireworks display begins.
9:45PM - Demon Valley Dr. will be closed for duration of fireworks display

General Parking: There are 10 designated parking areas:

  1. Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Grassy Area)

  2. C.B. Watson School - Handicap

  3. Warner Robins High School - Pickup/Drop-off/Uber/Lyft

  4. Pearl Stephens School Area

  5. Rumble Academy Sacred Heart Catholic Church Complex

  6. Robins Financial Credit Union

  7. Middle Georgia State University Commercial Circle Area

  8. City of Warner Robins Municipal Complex

IDC Designated Parking areas

Prohibited Items include: drones, glass bottles, firearms, weapons, alcohol, rolling coolers, hard-sided coolers, pets, outside food and open drinks, large umbrellas, and tents.

Allowed items include: small soft-sided coolers with sealed drinks inside, lawn chairs, diaper bags, small coolers for medical purpose such as insulin or baby formula. All items will be searched and persons are subject to search.
