Warner Robins Firefighter and Rookie Firefighter of the Year Announcement

Warner Robins, Georgia, April 19, 2022: Each year, Warner Robins firefighters have the opportunity to recognize someone among their peers to represent our department as Firefighter of the Year, and Rookie Firefighter of the Year. These individuals are nominated and selected based on their achievements, work ethic, pride, honor, character and other positive attributes. The honor of being selected by a group of your peers and past award recipients makes this achievement most meaningful. When asked about this year’s nominees, Chief Ross Moulton stated that “I am very proud of everyone who was nominated this year. It is so good to have many individuals who are deserving of this honor, and speaks volumes to the kind of people this department is made up of. I am so honored to work with each of you on a daily basis.” The recipients of the 2022 awards are as follows:
Captain Michael Buckner – 2022 Firefighter of the Year
Firefighter Chris Reid – 2022 Rookie Firefighter of the Year
