Officers with our agency receive: -Ample training opportunities -Duty gun, long gun, back up gun, taser -Take home vehicle -All duty and training uniforms provided -Full paid scholarship to the state Mandated Police Academy with meal allowance -Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave -Rotating shifts -Opportunities for SWAT, K9 and Traffic Units -Tuition Reimbursement after one year of employment -Pension Plan -Health Insurance for employee only $25 / family coverage only $45 per biweekly pay period -$50,000 Life Insurance plan free of charge to employee with opportunity to increase plan -Pay: Our entry hourly rate is $25.25 and officers work a 2,229 hour annual schedule with a starting annual salary of $56,282.25 with additional step increases for certified law enforcement experience. Requirements / Minimum StandardsDue to the nature of positions within the Police Department, it is the responsibility of the Warner Robins Police Department to conduct a thorough background investigation on each applicant considered for positions. Only those persons whose conduct, character, and behavior which does not discredit either themselves or the Warner Robins Police Department will be employed. The Investigation includes, but is not limited to, a check of the applicant’s work history, driver’s history, criminal history, references, ethical conduct, honesty, financial responsibility (credit) and past behavior. Applicants must meet the minimum criteria outlined below:

To apply, submit any test scores from below to Human Resources at City Hall at 700 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093. They will give you a packet of information for the next physical agility test and assessment center. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
- Test Scores: You must complete one of the following: ACCUPLACER, ACT, ASSET, SAT or CPE. The ACCUPLACER exam may be taken at any Georgia technical college. Any fees charged by the college are the responsibility of the applicant, but will be reimbursed to those who successfully complete the hiring process.
