Internal Affairs is designed to maintain the integrity of the Warner Robins Police Department and the protection of the public's trust. This is accomplished through fair and objective investigations. This division investigates all allegations of unnecessary or excessive use of force and allegations of criminal or interdepartmental misconduct.
It is the responsibility of the Internal Affairs Division to review:
  • All uses of force regardless if a complaint has been filed
  • Vehicle pursuits
  • Vehicle accidents within the agency
  • Background checks for new hires
  • Recognition of officer for commendations

Commendations Process 

Commendations of officers or other employees are always welcome. The Warner Robins Police Department is committed to holding its officers to the highest standard and maintaining a working relationship with the community. Commendations may be made by email at wrpdpio@wrga.gov, post office mail, or by telephone. 

Complaints Process 

Complaints are made directly to any supervisor on duty. They can be made, in writing, at the Warner Robins Police Department located at 100 Watson Boulevard or by clicking on the link below.

All complaints will be thoroughly investigated within a timely manner. The investigation will be forwarded to the Chief of Police for disposition at the conclusion of the investigation. Any witness information that will assist in the investigation will also be requested. The person making the complaint will be notified in writing of the findings in the investigation once the process is complete.
